Honor Choir is an auditioned ensemble for gifted middle school and high school singers. In Honor Choir we combine a love of singing with a goal of excellence; we build a sense of community and teamwork with our peers; and we reach out to the community in service. Honor Choir students give an annual concert and also give special performances throughout the year in our community and surrounding areas by invitation.

Honor Choir students develop outstanding vocal technique, learn to sight-read music, sing in harmony, perform vocal repertoire in English as well as other languages, sing a variety of styles of literature that represent musical cultures around the world as well as our own, develop a strong work-ethic and sense of discipline, and much more.

Honor choir auditions consist of a very brief, low-stress audition/chat with the director. Students may sing any song of their choosing (16-32 bars or 30-60 seconds)"Auditions are brief and fun, so don't be nervous!! :)
