About Premier Piano

  • Schedule: Meets weekly from Sept through early June. The studio is closed for major holidays.

  • Location: Offered at one or more of our studio locations in Boyertown, PA.

  • Ages: 7-12 (suggested)

  • Performance Opportunities: Students are invited to perform twice a year at our Fall and Spring recitals.

  • Instrument: Students should have a piano or full-size keyboard at home with 88 weighted keys, a music stand, a bench, and a pedal. We offer a Keyboard Rent-to-Own Package as an affordable way to get started with lessons for those who don’t yet have an instrument at home.

  • Class size: Classes typically have between 3 and 8 students. In larger classes, class assistants help the lead teacher ensure that each student gets individual attention.

  • Students progress at their own pace.

  • Books and materials are an additional cost, available at the studio so progress can continue without interruption.

  • Focus on building fundamental piano skills

  • Develop good piano posture

  • Work through a broad range of curriculum and repertoire

  • Improve fluency in reading both treble and bass clefs

  • Engage in theory activities & music games to strengthen skills

  • Learn and collaborate with peers

  • Play games to develop skills and to have fun!

  • Participate in listening exercises to develop ear training

  • Improvise to develop listening skills and musical intuition.

  • Foster musicality by working on dynamics, technique, and phrasing.

    My Daughter is in her 3rd year as a Student at Patricia Keiths Studio. She began as a Little Mozart Student and is now in the Premier Piano Class. She is really blossoming as a young pianist & I feel the Studio allows a bit of fun along with excellent instruction. Everyone is friendly, encouraging and hospitable. The nurturing atmosphere fosters growth and confidence for her as a growing musician.
