Our early learning programs are led by Ms. Jenni Shelgren, an educator with over two decades of experience teaching young children — from first grade classrooms to preschool programs.
Ms. Jenni brings creativity and a deep understanding of how young children learn to every class she teaches.

Busy Bees
This fun and friendly class helps little learners build confidence, make friends, and explore the world through play.
Each 90-minute class includes story time, songs, bubbles, interactive games, sensory play, an art project, snack, and a big-movement activity like an obstacle course—plus a cheerful goodbye song to wrap it all up.
Grown-ups will enjoy connecting with other caregivers while watching their children grow, learn, and laugh together!Siblings 12 months and younger attend for free, but must be registered with the office so that we know how many people total are in the class. Once they are 12 months old, they join the class at 50% off the regular monthly membership, and at 18 months, they join as full members.

Schedule: Thursdays, 9:00-10:30am
Ages: 18 months through 3 years at the time of enrollment, with a parent or caregiver

Art & Science Explorers
Each class is packed with hands-on science, nature, and art adventures—plus plenty of time for independent & creative play! Exciting experiments and sensory activities as well as crafts, games, and collaborative projects are all part of the fun!
Your child will build confidence, curiosity, and friendships in this nurturing small-group setting.
Each class makes time for snacks and active play to get those bodies moving!Children need to independently use the bathroom by their start date. Students can be dropped off for class or accompanied by a caregiver.
Location: 2nd St Center for the Arts
Schedule: Wednesdays, 9:00-11:30am
Ages: 3-5 years old at the time of enrollment

Transitional Explorers
This class is tailored to help students that are not quite ready for the large class sizes, extended class times, or schedule expectations of a traditional preschool. Children entering the class should have an IEP or currently undergoing evaluation.
The program will include socialization and modeling of effective communication, music and art sensory experiences, and gross and fine motor activities appropriate to each learner.
Therapists working with students are welcome and encouraged to attend class alongside their students to support them in authentic learning situations.
Parents are welcome to stay in the classroom or drop off.
